[sticky post] Welcome to Keychain of the Day!

I collect keychains! I update often featuring a different keychain from my extensive collection. If you have questions about how many I have, how I got started, or other common questions I get, please check my inaugural post here. If this interests you, feel free to add me as a friend- you don't have to ask first.

If you want to donate your old, unwanted keychain(s) to me, please comment, PM, or drop by my keychain geocache (more info on that behind the cut). I would be happy to accept any keychain in any condition and you will be helping to contribute to one of the world's largest high-quality keychain collections.

You can also become my patron and support KOTD directly. If you want to help me afford to buy new keychains, please stop by my store. There's jewelry, writing, tea, seeds, art, and more for just $5 each! If you are interested, just ask here! You can also buy my ebook trilogy here to fund my keychain habit.

Find a cool colored rock?
Did you find Keychain of the Day from a rock you discovered? If so, please leave me a comment! If you found it another way, you're welcome to comment too :)

It is #29 best-selling in poetry:

CACHE TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED 2.29.16 Check back for future updates

If you like geocaching and are in the central Florida area, you can contribute directly to my keychain collection via my keychain geocache. I give the GPS coordinates below as well as instructions for those who don't have a GPS so everyone who wants to participate totally can. I keep some of my duplicate keychains in there for trading so feel free to grab a piece of the magic if you want to, or just drop off your old unwanted keychains.

This cache is easy to locate. Coordinates are N 28° 32.748’ W 81° 10.475’. Drive into the Waterford Chase Recreation Park on the south side of Waterford Chase Parkway in Orlando, Florida and leave your car in the lot. Walk to the farthest corner of the volleyball court. There is a crack in the white PVC pipe surrounding the court that has been there for years. The cache is a cylinder hidden within. When you are done trading keychains, use common sense and please do not push the cache too far into the pipe. The park is open every day from dawn until dusk.

Hi. I saw you defriended me. I'm not sure I had noticed that you had friended me beforehand. Sorry!

I found you on the friending meme. I was struggling to organize my friend list this afternoon but my geriatric computer was fighting me every step of the way. I didn't mean to drop you. I'd like to add you back if you are still interested in being friends.

Sure. The name looked kinda familiar, but not so much that I thought you had been on my friend list....hence my confusion.

How to contact you?

I tried messaging you at heathersmoo@livejournal.com about donating keychains, but my email got sent back as unable to be delivered. Is there any other way to personal message you? I have some questions I wanted to ask.

P.S., I wasn't able to change the "From" section from anonymous to my name, so I'll just check back on my comment within these two days to see if you'd replied. Thanks.

I want to donate my collection to you!
My name is Jessica, and I would like to send you my small keychain collection. They are special to me, and I hate to give them away, but I am moving to San Francisco and so I'm trying to keep as little as possible. I am so glad that I found your blog, because donating to you seems like the best option for finding them a good home.
I'm not sure if my email will get to you, so I'm posting here too. Please email me with the address to ship them to, ASAP. My email: superjelly1@mac.com
Thank you!

Small keychain collection
Hi - I have a small keychain collection I am looking to give up. I'm not sure how many I have or if you would be interested in any of them, but I am willing to gift them to you for free.

They aren't bringing me much value at this point and figured I would try and find someone who would get joy from acquiring them.

I have no idea how this site works or how to contact people privately thru direct messages and what not? Let me know if you are interested.

Invitation from another keychain collector
Hi Heather,
I'd like to personally invite you to visit my new keychain collecting blog
Grab The Brass Keyring
over on Blogger.
Also, being a keychain collector myself I'd be happy to send you one or two 'spare' keychains. You can contact me at the email address listed on my Blogger profile page.
Enjoy your day.
Signed, Treesa

Can I send you my keychains?
Hi! I just found your page through a google search on "donating keychains." I used to collect keychains when I was younger, but I haven't done anything with them in many years, and only two really have deep sentimental value for me. If you still collect keychains, I would be happy to send mine to you. I'm venusguytrap on Tumblr if you want to contact me. Thanks!!
